Dahal throws ball to govt court

LALITPUR: UCPN-Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal said on Saturday that the political consensus would depend on the government.

Talking to journalists at Khanna Garment in Lalitpur, Dahal, who was there to give training to his active party cadres, said they should be flexible and the political consensus depends on the government. He put forth his belief that the civilian supremacy would be restored through the agitation. The Maoists have given an ultimatum of Sunday.

The Maoists have discussed the upcoming movement among the party cadres. They announced the agitations including the Singha Durbar gherao, to announce independent state committees and sanction Kathmandu valley.
