DDC hands over computers to NGOs
Kathmandu, December 20:
Raj Kumar Shrestha, local development officer of District Development Committee, Bhaktapur, today handed over nine sets of computers and printers to nine local non-government organisations working in the valley.
World Vision International (WVI) provided the sets to all nine local NGOs. The total cost of the computer and printer sets is Rs 350,000.
Ramila Karmacharya, team leader of Bhaktapur Area Development Programme said the computer and printer sets were provided to the local NGOs to build their capacity and to make them self-reliant.
She said, “Access to computers will help the people working in the organisation to quickly and easily provide service to the public.”
