Dealers padlock gas companies’ godowns
Kathmandu, August 26:
The Gas Dealers’ Association Nepal (GDAN) padlocked all godowns of Liquefied Petroleum (LP) Gas companies in the capital today as a part of their protests against inadequate import and supply of LP Gas.
The association said the protests were to press the government, Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) and other authorities concerned for normal supply of LPG.
It said the supply of LPG has reduced to a mere 25 per cent of the demand in the last two months.
A total of 20 godowns in the capital were padlocked today.
