Bhaktapur, July 13

Director General of the Department of Information Bir Bahadur Rai said the department would be developed as an information bank.

At an interaction organised by Bhaktapur chapter of Federation of Nepali Journalists here today, Rai said it would be easier for mediapersons to obtain information about government activities if the DoI was developed as an information bank.

Rai also urged journalists to focus on investigative stories,

Chief District Officer of Bhaktapur Drona Pokharel and former president of Federation of Nepali Journalists Dharmendra Jha talked about challenges facing the media sector.
