KATHMANDU: A man reportedly stabbed his wife to death in Manamaiju of Kathmandu, police said.

Harihar Karki (42), a permanent resident of Chhatredeurali-6 of Dhading, had thrust a knife into his wife Radhika's stomach at their rented room in Manamaiju yesterday, police said.

The 32-year-old sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.

She succumbed to injuries during treatment today, police informed.

Meanwhile, police nabbed the suspect for further investigation.
