Foreign diplomats, Indian foreign secy meet Deuba
KATHMANDU: Foreign diplomats including visiting foreign secretary of India, S Jaishankar, separately called on Nepali Congress top leader and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba at the latter's residence in Budhanilakantha on Tuesday.
Jaishankar, United Nations' interim head of office in Kathmandu Maarten Halff, and Germany's Ambassador to Nepal, Matthila Meyer congratulated for his election to the post of Nepali Congress's president through the party's 13th national general convention, according a statement issued by the party's central office.
Yesterday, British Ambassador to Nepal Richard Morri had met Deuba.
