KATHMANDU: A man who was injured after the car he was driving collided with a parked truck in Swayambhu area has died at hospital, police said.

Police identified the deceased as 35-year-old Bir Lama of Makawanpur, currently residing at Panchdhara in Swayambhu.

Lama was critically injured after his car hit the rear end of the truck parked on the roadside at Thulobharyang on Tuesday. He was rushed to the Bir Hospital where he died during the course of treatment, police said.

Police have impounded both the vehicles for further investigation and action.
