KATHMANDU: An octogenarian woman succumbed to injuries she sustained after being hit by a bus at New Baneshwor on Monday.

The yet to be identified pedestrian was knocked down by a passenger bus (Ba 3 Kha 8520) at New Baneshwor Chok in KMC-10.

She had succumbed to the injuries while undergoing treatment at the Civil Service Hospital.

The bus driver has been arrested and the vehicle impounded for further investigation, said police.
