MADHYAPUR: School Leaving Certificate (SLC) supplementary examination has been put off by a week due to a delay in the appointment of the Controller of Examinations. Gopal Prasad Bhattarai, deputy controller, OCE, said, “The supplementary exams will begin August 16, instead

of August 9. Preparations are not over yet due to the delay in appointment.” Students failing up to two subjects

are allowed to sit the exam. According to Bhattarai, as many as 93,237 candidates will take the examination at

279 centres.
