FENEJ meet elects central committee

Kathmandu, March 11:

The first national convention of the Federation of Nationalist Journalists (FENEJ) concluded here on Friday with the election of the Federation’s central committee under the chairmanship of senior journalist Nirodh Raj Pandey.

Pandey was elected president of FENEJ by an election held for different posts during the general convention yesterday.

Similarly, Jasuda Pradhan has been elected vice president of the committee from among the associate members Mohan Shrestha from among the general members while Sagun Sundar Lawati was elected unopposed vice president from among the professional group.

Likewise, Kumar Yatru has been elected the general secretary and Mohan Dhungel, Anjana Rawal and Ramhari Chaulagain the three secretaries. Karna Prakhar Dhital has been elected the treasurer and Rabin Chamling, Ram Mani Poudel, Maiya Khanal and Kabindra Serma the members.

Among the Zonal Convenors are Govinda Adhikari (Mechi), Ashok Poudel (Kosi), Badri Prasad Kafle (Sagarmatha), Keshav Kafle (Janakpur), Krishna Ram Pariyar (Narayani), Devendra Chudal (Bagmati), Nawaraj Pahadi (Gandaki), Resham Poudel (Lumbini), Krishna Bhandari (Bheri), Ananda Shahi (Karnali), Uma Joshi (Seti) and Prakash Thakuri (Mahakali).

The term of the central working committee is three years.
