Kathmandu: Nepali Congress leader Pradip Paudel on Sunday announced a donation of Rs 100,000 to seven-year old son of Surya Kumar Kshetri, secretary of Nepal Press Union, who recently died of brain tumor.

In a joint statement, Pradip Paudel and his wife Anjila Neupane, central member of Nepal Student Union, said they would donate amount from their wedding fund.

“We were shocked to hear about the untimely demise of Kshetri.

It was just a day after we tied the knot. We thought we could be of some help and we contributed the amount,” read the statement.
