KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs five million was reduced to ashes when a fire broke out at the Bhairab Cotton Factory in Besigaun of Chandragiri Municipality-15 on Monday night.

Police said that the reason behind the fire that broke out at the factory owned by Purna Maharjan is yet to be ascertained.

Further investigation into the incident is underway, police said.
