KATHMANDU:  Property worth Rs 172,000 has been destroyed in a fire in Budhanilakantha of Kathmandu on Tuesday.

The fire broke out after an electronic short circuit at the Makul Saving and Credit Co-operative in Hattigauda, Budanilakantha Muncipality-9.

Further investigation is underway.
