KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 327,000 was destroyed in a fire that broke out at a grocery store in Budhanilkantha-15 on Thursday.

The shop was owned by Chandra Bahadur Karki (22) of Samyukta Buspark.

The reason behind the blaze was electric short circuit, said police.

The Fire was put off with the help of locals, police personnel and a fire engine.
