Kathmandu, March 28:

A police team from the Narcotic Drug Control Law Enforcement Unit (NDCLEU), New Baneshwor, arrested five persons with 35.5 kg of hashish and 1,220 injections from the city on March 25 and 26.

Gorkha Bahadur Duwal and Narendra Bahadur Singh were held with 35.5 kg of hashish from Machhapokhari on March 25.

Brij Kumar Tripathi and Anabar Miya of Parsa were held with 1,000 ampoules of injecting drugs from Bhotebahal the same day.

Kanchha Lama was held with 220 ampoules of injecting drugs from the Kathmandu Metropolitan City-12 on March 26.
