Former Princess Prerana Singh discharged from hospital

KATHMANDU: Former Princess Prerana Singh, the daughter of former King Gyanendra Shah, has been discharged from the Norvic International Hospital after her health improved, on Sunday.

Former Princess was admitted to the Thapathali-based Hospital on April 7 after she suffered a stroke. She was diagnosed with cerebral venous sinus thrombosis, a condition in which a blood clot is seen in brain vessel.

She has made almost complete recovery and is now able to walk without any support, the hospital said today.

Consultant neurologist Dr Pankaj Jalan at the hospital and her family physician Dr Kishore Jung Rana  were involved in her treatment.
