KATHMANDU, APRIL 29

Former Queen Komal Shah, who was admitted to Thapathali -based Norvic Hospital after having contracted Covid-19, has been moved to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) owing to breathing related complications, on Thursday.

According to the hospital, she has been kept on high-flow oxygen support at the moment after her health started deteriorating.

The former queen was tested positive along with former King Gyanendra Shah following their return from a trip to India where they had participated in religious rituals at Har Ki Pauri, Haridwar, during the Mahakumbh Mela.

Former King and their daughter Prerana are also receiving treatment at the same hospital.

Meanwhile, the former king is also in oxygen support but he and daughter Singh are said to be in normal condition.
