Himalaya Vidya Mandir Founder Principal Singh dies at 82
KATHMANDU: The Founder Principal of Siphal-based Himalaya Vidya Mandir Savitri Singh Shrestha, who had contributed to the society as an educationalist, died on Tuesday. She was 82.
Singh was suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes. She died in course of treatment at the Chabahil-based Medicare Hospital, a family member said.
Her final rites were performed on Tuesday night itself.
