Kathmandu, December 12:

Communist Party of Nepal-Unified Marxist and Leninist (CPN-UML) today submitted the names of 107 members to the Constituent Assembly secretariat for representation in different committees in the CA.

Altogether 21 out of 25 parties, including CPN-UML, have submitted their names till date. Nepali Congress, Madhesi Janaadhikar Forum, Sadbhawana Party led by Rajendra Mahato, and Dalit Janajati Party led by Bishendra Paswan are yet to submit the names of their representatives for the respective committees.

The fourteen committees in the Constituent Assembly will have to be formed by December 15, as required by the CA schedule. The political parties representing the CA will start the constitution drafting process through the committees.
