KATHMANDU: The Central Investigation Bureau of Nepal Police has arrested seven persons for their alleged involvement in operating an illegal networking business.

On Tuesday, police apprehended a total of 66 persons. However, seven believed to be the mastermind behind running iBoss Global Marketing Pvt Ltd in Chuchhepati have been held, police said.

Police identified the suspects as Raj Kumar Dangal of Kavre, Narayan Siwakoti of Dolakha, Bhakta Bahadur Nepali of Jorpati, Rabin Nepali of Ramechhap, Pradip Rai of Solukhumbu, Tirsana Sunwar and Purna Bahadur Shrestha of Ramechhap.

The suspects ran the illegal network through online portals and other channels to collect large sum of money from people as membership fees.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway.
