Anil Shreshtha of Thamel, has hit the jackpot in the quest for free wheels. Patron of the New Daftar Youth Club, Ravi Charan Shrestha, today handed over the keys of a brand new Lifan motorbike to Anil.

Anil bagged the prize in a lottery organised for participants of the peace rally to mark the 33rd birthday of Crown Prince Paras. Club patron Ravi Charan also gave 10 consolation prizes and letters of appreciation and certificates to other participants. The prizes were sponsored by Annapurna Associates. Some 209 motorcyclists had participated in the rally that was organised by the club. The rally, inaugurated by Kathmandu Metropolitan City mayor Keshav Sthapit, had progressed to the playing of traditional musical instruments at various parts of Kathmandu and Bhaktapur.
