FSFN, Naya Shakti urge RJP to take part in elections
KATHMANDU: The Federal Socialist Forum Nepal and the Naya Shakti Nepal have urged all political parties and groups to participate in the second round of the local level elections.
FSFN Chairman Upendra Yadav and Naya Shakti Coordinator Baburam Bhattarai issued a press release Sunday, urging all including the Rastriya Janata Party Nepal to contest in the elections.
Meanwhile, they have demanded both the government and the agitating parties to implement the agreement they reached on ensuring broader acceptability of the constitution.
Similarly, the government is demanded to announce martyrs to all those killed during the Madhes and Tharuhat protests.
Both parties strongly urged the RJP to participate in the elections in order to take the struggle for rights including the achievement of federalism to a new height.
They also pressed the RJP to forge electoral alliance with the parties/groups waging similar issues.
