KATHMANDU: The Central Investigation Bureau of the Nepal Police on Wednesday nabbed Himal Malla, 37, of Kanchanpur, who had been absconding after being convicted of fraud. He was arrested from Putalisadak. Foreign Employment Tribunal had sentenced him to 18 months in jail with a fine of Rs 150,000 in absentia on April 2014. Malla was found guilty of swindling two persons of Rs 670,000 with the promise of a lucrative job in Japan in 2008.
