LALITPUR: The Metropolitan Police Range, Lalitpur on Tuesday arrested a man, who had been absconding after being convicted of drug smuggling, from Jawalakhel.

DSP Dayanidhi Gyawali of Lalitpur MPR said the Lalitpur District Court had sentenced Suman Baniya (29) of Karyabinayak Municipality-1, Lalitpur to one year in prison, along with a fine of Rs 10,000, on January 24, 2010.
