Kathmandu, March 4:

The Federal Republic of Germany has provided a grant of Euro 30,000 (NRs 2.81 million) to National Women’s Social Forum (NWSF) to support the latter’s effort to empower women

in Nepal.

According to a press statement issued by the German embassy here, women should whole-heartedly pursue their movement to achieve self esteem and to create a just and equitable society.

German ambassador to Nepal Verena Grafin Von Roedern and Renu Rajbhandari, on behalf of the non-government organisation, signed the agreement on Wednesday.
