Ghode Jatra preparations in full swing at Tundikhel

KATHMANDU: Nepal Army personnel are currently rehearsing for the upcoming Godhe Jatra in Tundikhel.

The annual festival is going to be celebrated on March 27 this year.

The Ghode Jatra, religiously named as Ashwa Yatra, is known as the oldest festival celebrated in the country’s cultural hub of the Kathmandu Valley.

Cavalry stunts including trick ride, charger horse race, cycle race, show jump, dog show are performed at the army pavilion, Tundikhel by Nepali Army personnel on the occasion.
