Govt, civil servants talks put off

KATHMANDU: The talks between the government and the agitating civil servants on salary increase have been postponed to Saturday at 2 pm. The meeting was postponed due to the inadequate homework by the government on the issue. Due to incomplete homework, Finance Minister Surendra Panday and Minister of Irrigation Bal Krishna Khand among other government representatives came for the meeting later than the scheduled time.

However, various agitating civil servant organisations also failed to reach a consensus regarding their demand for salary hike.
