KATHMANDU: The Government of Nepal is set to resume talks with the Terai outfits from the second week of Baisakh, according to the Minister of Peace and coordinator of talk team Janardan Sharma.

Agreements made earlier in the first round of talks have either been implemented already or are on the verge of implementation, he added. The government had concluded the first round talks with six different armed outfits.
Meanwhile Sharma clarified that he had no knowledge about the agitation warned by Tharuhat Sangarsha Samiti and Jantantrik Terai Mukti Morcha-Rajan.
