Govt to improve higher education: Minister
Kathmandu, June 2:
Minister for Education and Sports Pradip Nepal said the government is committed to improve the standard of the higher studies to make it job oriented and to produce skilled manpower.
He said this while inaugurating a seminar on Concept of school education and concern of higher secondary education, organised by the Higher Secondary Education Board here today.
The seminar would be fruitful in making the nation self-reliant and to head the country in the scientific path, to make the foundation of the higher secondary education dynamic and to have necessary reform on it, he said. Some 190 participants including head masters of the higher secondary schools, convenors and chairmen of the school management committees from the 13 districts under the Central Development Region have been taken part at the seminar.
