Bhaktapur: Chairman of the Rajparishad Standing Committee Parasu Narayan Chaudhary on Saturday urged the government to take into consideration the plight of the Tharu community.

“Though the population of the Tharus is quite big, hardly any one of

them has reached to the decision-making level,” said Chaudhary, also the former chairman of the Tharu Welfare Society (TWS). — HNS
