No govt change before budget: DPM Rayamajhi
KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Energy Top Bahadur Rayamajhi said that the government would not change before announcing the budget.
Though the game of forming and toppling the government has already started, Rayamajhi, while speaking at an interaction organised in Bhaktapur on Sunday, said that government would not change before unveiling the budget.
Saying that preparations to present government's policies and programmes have already been completed, he said that the change of government in this situation would have adverse impact in all the sectors.
He said that national consensus government was a need of the current time rather than forming or toppling the government.
Moreover, Minister Rayamajhi said that President Bidya Devi Bhandari's scheduled visit to India was cancelled due to natural calamity in the Ujjain district of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh and political situation of the country.
