Gyawali meets Luxembourg minister

Kathmandu, July 30

Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali held a meeting with the Minister for Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Affairs of Luxembourg Romain Schneider at the latter’s office in Luxembourg City today.

The two ministers reviewed all aspects of Nepal-Luxembourg ties. Expressing satisfaction with the excellent state of bilateral relations between the two countries, the ministers stressed the need to further promote economic engagement in the areas of trade, investment, tourism and technology transfer, among others, a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs read.

Minister Gyawali thanked the Luxembourgish Government for its support and cooperation extended to Nepal. Schneider said Luxembourg would continue to support Nepal’s development efforts through bilateral and multilateral frameworks. The two ministers also discussed ways and means to enhance cooperation in forums such as the United Nations. Gyawali was accompanied by the Ambassador of Nepal to BENELUX countries Lok Bahadur Thapa.
