Help for ailing teacher
KATHMANDU: Students of Shantinagar-based Babylon National School have raised fund for the treatment of a teacher, who was diagnosed with blood cancer a few months ago.
Subash Gurung, 24, a teacher at Battisputali-based Peace Point School, is a permanent resident of Bhumidada-4, Panauti VDC, Kavre.
He is currently receiving treatment at Civil Hospital.
The student council of Babylon National School collected Rs 43,600 from among students and handed over the amount to the teacher on January 29.
