Hisila Yami’s stand

Kathmandu, January 27:

Maoist leader Hisila Yami today said that the 10 new lawmakers, nominated by the party as civil society members, bear the right to go against the party line in the house. “The nominated MPs are all free to express their opinion. Rather, we want to see them playing the role of opposition against the party,” she said, addressing a programme organised by the Newar National Organisation to felicitate the Newar MPs. She said that the nominated lawmakers are expected to check the “party’s line from outside and provide us with feedback.”
