HR's body knocks on Koirala’s door

KATHMANDU: Nepal Human Rights Organisation (NHRO) has urged veteran congress leader and former prime minister GP Koirala to immediately take necessary steps to forge consensus among the parties to take the peace process to a logical conclusion.

Issuing a press statement on Friday, NHRO said his leadership was today's prime need. "All the political parties are only interested in fulfiling their petty interests instead of devoting their time to speed up the constitution writing process," read the statement, claiming that the competent leadership of Koirala was the need of the day. NHRO has also called on Koirala to convince the government not to sack CoAS Rookmangud Katawal.
