KATHMANDU: Marking the International Human Right Day, Collective Forum of Civil and Human Right Defender (CFCHRD) is organising Human Rights National Magna Meet-2009 from December 8-10 for the first time in Nepal. CFCHRD in a press statement mentioned that the new constitution should assure human rights of every individual. The statement also claimed that the meet would help to find a way out of the present political crisis. “The meet will also provide platform for raising issues of human rights, transitional justice and agendas related to peace and development,” said the statement.
