KATHMANDU: Hundreds of people gathered at the Maitighar Mandala today showing solidarity towards Dr Govinda KC's demands seeking reforms in medical education.

The mass gathered at the protest rally called for the government to fulfil demands put forth by Dr KC. The rally saw slogans asking the government to take back the Medical Education Bill to save the doctor's life.

Meanwhile, the rally converged into a corner meeting at Baneshwor, where Dr KC's supporters staged demonstrations.

Dr KC is being brought back to the capital today. Protests erupted in Jumla where the medical activist was staging hunger strike after the government sent aircraft to forcefully airlift KC.
