Improve TIA’s image, CIAA tells govt
KATHMANDU: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) today directed the government authorities to install CCTV and set up help desks at the nation’s only international airport - Tribhuvan International Airport.
Stating that the tourists were facing problems in the absence of help desks, the CIAA had issued such an order. The anti-graft body also urged the authority to relocate old planes parked at the airport citing that they posed threat on the security and had spoilt the beauty of the only international airport.
The anti-graft body also urged to adopt both short-term and long-term reform programmes for the international airport.
