Letters of credence

Kathmandu : The ambassadors of four different countries presented their Letters of Credence to President Dr Ram Baran Yadav at a special ceremony organised at Sheetal Niwas on Friday. Qiu Guohong of the People’’s Republic of China, Josheph Caron of Canada, Dr Abdullah Bin Naset Al Busairi of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Ion de la Riva Guzman de Frutos of Spain. Germans offer help

Kathmandu : Specialists from Stuttgart Municipality and Stuttgart University, who are on a study visit here, have said they have proposed local authorities for technical assistance for a long-term plan to conserve and revive the polluted Bishnumati River. They were speaking at a programme, organised by Local Initiative for Urban Development Project, which is jointly run by the government and GTZ. — RSS
