Results to be delayed
MADHYAPUR THIMI: Publication of the results of this year’s SLC examination will be delayed due to the election. Office of the Controller of Examinations, said the results will be delayed due to a delay in checking the answer sheets, as many teachers across the country have been mobilised for election. According to examination controller, Harka Prasad Shrestha, the office will try to bring out the results by the end of July. — RSS
Schools closed
MADHYAPUR THIMI: The Higher Secondary Schools affiliated to the Higher Secondary Education Board (HSEB) have been closed from Friday for the election. All the Higher Secondary Schools are closed as students have to go to villages for “making the election a success”, HSEB said. According to HSEB member secretary Ram Bahadur Khadka, the higher secondary schools all over the country were closed from Friday by ending even the academic year as the election is nearing. — RSS
