Disabled launch stir

Kathmandu: Over 22 organisations have launched a movement to pile pressure on the government to safeguard rights of the people living with disabilities. Rukmangat Nyaupane, coordinator of the ‘United National Disabled Movement’ (UNDM), said at a press meet on Saturday, “This movement aims to make the government address our demands.” — HNS

KATHMANDU: Indian Idol participants Abhishek Kumar, Charu Semwal and Meiyang Chang attended a musical programme at Platinum night club in Durbarmarg on Friday night, manager of the club Niresh Thapa said. According to Thapa, around 400 people attended the programme. — HNS
