Laws for IDPs

KATHMANDU: A week-long workshop organised by the Ministry of Peace and Reconstruction and the Centre for Human Resource Management, UNHRC, UNOCHA and the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) concluded on Wednesday, highlighting the need to make laws for the implementation of the national policy on internally displaced persons (IDPs). All the participants called for the formulation of laws to facilitate rehabilitation of those displaced, the NRC said in a press release. — HNS
