Institutes’ protest plan

KATHMANDU: Demanding action against those behind abducting and thrashing people involved in the education sector, educational institutions’ owners’ struggle panel of the Valley on Sunday announced a five-day-long protest plan. Organising a press meet, the committee demanded that the case of abducting MD of the Nobel Medical College and Nobel Academy, Navaraj Pandey, chairman of Nobel Medical College Dr Gyanendra Giri and directors Aditya Khanal, Umesh Pande and Janak Rijal on November 18 be probed. — HNS

Indo-Nepal meet ends

KATHMANDU: The 11th Director Generals of Department of Customs on Customs Coordination and Cooperation-level meeting between Nepal and India concluded here on Saturday. An MoU was signed between the two countries after the meeting. — RSS
