Case against Kharel

MADHYAPUR THIMI: Police have decided to file a public offense case against Prakash Kharel for chanting slogans against Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala. Kharel did so during the PM’s visit to Nava Durga Temple in Kamal Binyak of Bhaktapur as head of the state on the day of Kojagrata Prunima. Some people had chanted slogans against the PM while he was returning from the temple. Police had arrested Kharel, 29, who had protested against the PM’s visit “under the influence of drugs.” — RSS
