Two bodies found

KATHMANDU: Prakash Shrestha, 32, who was residing in a rented room in the house of Kishor Shrestha in Lazimpat of Kathmandu Metropolitan City was found dead on Tuesday morning. Probe about the incident is on, the Metropolitan Police Commissioner’s Office said. Meanwhile, Raj Kumar Rai, 27, of Okhaldhunga, residing in Gongobu was found dead. Rai committed suicide by hanging from a tree near his residence on Tuesday, police said. — HNS

Govt staffers’ training

KATHMANDU: A 15-day-long training has started on Tuesday with a view to enhancing capabilities of civil servants. During the training, 300 government staffers will get education on electronic governance system. Inaugurating the training, Minister for Environment, Science and Technology Mahatha Thakur Nepal is heading towards modernised electronic administration.— RSS

Contribution to fund

KATHMANDU: Asia-Pacific Ladies Friendship Society has provided Japanese Yen 300,000 to the Prime Minister Natural Calamities Relief Fund to help people who were affected by recent floods and landslides, the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers said on Tuesday. — RSS
