CIAA directs to JEMC

KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) directed the Janak Education Material Centre (JEMC) to publish and print textbooks from

the regional headquarters on Friday as the printing of books in the centre could not meet the demand of the students. After the investigation of the CIAA found irregularities in the JEMC, it directed the government owned corporation to follow the provisions of the financial Act while procuring goods and services. The anti-graft body directed the JEMC to follow Clause 20 while procuring goods and services. — HNS
