Relief for flood victims :

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Students’ Union (NSU) Central Committee close to the Nepali Congress (D) on Friday collected Rs 8,051 and clothes for flood victims from Bhotahiti and New Road areas. The NSU, in a statement, said it would continue the drive for a week. — HNS

Book on CA released :

KATHMANDU: A book, Sambidhan Sabha: Prakriya Ra Anubhavharu, written by constitutional lawyer Bhimarjun Acharya was released on Friday. Releasing the book, Acharya said: “Constituent Assembly polls should be held at any cost if we want to save the nation.” — HNS

Orientation for cops :

KATHMANDU: Additional Inspector General of the Armed Police, Rohit Thapa, gave away certificates to participants of an orientation programme on international human rights and international humanitarian laws here on Thursday. The programme was organised by the United Nations High Commission for Human Rights (UNHCHR) and the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) for officers of the Armed Police Force. The APF headquarters said 36 officers from different units participated in the programme. — RSS
