Army man’s body

KATHMANDU: The body of Nepali Army Sergeant Chiranjibi Khatri, who died while on the UN’s peacekeeping mission in Burundi, was brought to the capital on Sunday. Khatri was a member of the fourth contingent of the Singhanath Battalion. Army officials and the Acting Resident Representative of the UN in Nepal, Suomi Sakai, paid tributes to Khatri at the TIA. Khatri’s family members were also present on the occasion. Khatri was injured in a road accident that took place near the Transit Camp at Bujumbura on July 1. Khatri’s body will be airlifted to Chungbhang VDC of Dhankuta on Monday.
