Aid to diarrhoea-hit

Widows upset

KATHMANDU: National Human Rights Foundation on Friday expressed concern about the incentive package of Rs 50,000 provided on a widow’s remarriage. Issuing a statement, NHRF said, “The provision has hurt their sentiments. We urge the government to find an alternative.” NHRF suggested that the government provide monthly allowance to all single women. — HNS
