KATHMANDU: British Embassy on Friday informed that students should make prior appointments at the Visa Application Centre in Kathmandu to apply for student visas. Issuing a press statement, the embassy informed that the system came into effect on August 3, stating that all appointments for student visa applications had been booked till August 28. It has also urged students to log on to its website -- www.vfs-uk-np.com-- for further information. —HNS


Aryal hospitalised KATHMANDU: Laxman Prasad Aryal, former Supreme Court justice and chairman of the the Interim Constitution Drafting Committee, 2007, has been hospitalised with a kidney ailment. Shree Hari Aryal, senior advocate, former SC justice Laxman Prasad was admitted to Medicare, Chabahil, about a week ago. — HNS
